The electricity bill of a house depends to a large extent on the number of appliances
For example in a house with the following appliances the peak electricity bill a year ago was Rs 4000+ though there was no working computer in the house.

In contrast for the same family, in another house with fewer appliances + computer , the peak electricity bill, for the same months is only Rs 1550

This clearly shows that the electricity consumption of computers is very negligible, though some government agencies are hysterically shouting about commercial electricity rates to justify the government SLAVERY of hardworking citizens who do some computer work at home.
