In places were the electric supply is interrupted often, rechargeable electric bulbs are installed for illumination.
Though these bulbs are expensive costing Rs 400 or more, they are usually reliable.
However they should not be installed on the outer walls of the property, especially if the wall become wet during heavy rainfall.
It was observed that one bulb stopped functioning during heavy rainfall.
Later when the rainfall reduced, the bulb was working normally.
